For three months, he lived with them in a house he could not leave on his own due to the remote location in Orange County, California, and he was without a vehicle. Stephen was participating in activities framed as spiritual advancement. Lehrer was described as a “new Christ” figure by Stephen's former mentor. This period left a profound mark on Stephen and shaped his later caution around spiritual leadership and manipulation.
🔹 2016–2022: Intermittent Contact
After his former mentor (who was deeply connected to Dr. Lehrer) nearly pushed Stephen to the point of suicide, Stephen took a step back from direct involvement. Despite this traumatic experience, Stephen and Dr. Lehrer remained in occasional contact during these years, with sporadic conversations about healing work and possible future collaborations.
🔹 2022: Discussions on Rebranding
Stephen initiated conversations with Dr. Lehrer about rebranding the “CRT” (Cellular Resonance Technique) to “CRQH” (Cellular Resonance Quantum Healing). Stephen expressed interest in bringing his operational expertise and strategic vision to help create a more modern and transparent brand.

We initially engaged with this project because Dr. Doug Lehrer presented it as a mission to uplift human consciousness, a cause that resonated deeply with our values and spiritual calling. In hindsight, this promise now appears to have been a deliberate fraudulent inducement: a tactic to gain our trust, extract our expertise, and then discard us without fair pay, recognition, or ethical closure.We see this initial promise as a core part of the fraudulent inducement that led us to invest our time, trust, and resources. It was not just about spiritual work, it was about operational and creative work done in good faith for a shared mission that was ultimately disregarded.
🔹 May 2023: Operational Partnership Begins
Quantum Heart Productions Ltd. (QHP) begins providing extensive operational support for Dr. Lehrer’s work, including website development, email infrastructure, branding, client management systems, and overall business growth. During this period there was no opportunity to work on QHP's other successful and well-loved brands. QHP supports Dr. Lehrer’s mission, often receiving weekly praise from Dr. Lehrer and the wider practitioner team for their contributions.
🔹 21 December 2024: Critical Event
Foreign Protein Cleanse Sale: Dr. Lehrer distributes and subsequently sells an unlicensed product called “Foreign Protein Cleanse” to Stephen and another colleague, without disclosing safety concerns or providing proper authorisation. Both Stephen and his wife suffer severe adverse effects within 24 hours, leading to medical interventions and emotional trauma. This incident raises serious concerns about product safety, ethics, and regulatory compliance.
December 22 to 27, 2024: Coercion, Targeting of a Family, and Forced Exit
On December 22nd, Dr. Doug Lehrer personally demanded that Stephen hand over all passwords for all systems — claiming this was necessary “in case he dies over Christmas” and threatening to withhold Stephen’s Christmas pay if he did not comply. During this conversation on Telegram, Dr. Doug Lehrer also stated, “I am here to raise human consciousness, Steve,” as if to frame these aggressive demands within a spiritual mission. This statement starkly contrasted with the threatening and manipulative tactics he was simultaneously employing.This demand came at a time when Dr. Doug Lehrer was fully aware that Stephen was already suffering from severe sleep deprivation and psychological distress caused by the adverse effects of the Foreign Protein Cleanse product that Dr. Lehrer had sold to him. Adding to the strain, Stephen was also co-parenting a 7-month-old baby with Kateřina, which compounded the personal and emotional burden on their young family.The intense pressure and sense of betrayal forced Stephen to resign from the project — a decision made under extreme coercion, not a voluntary or amicable departure.This was not merely a personal or contractual dispute — it was the erasure of an entire family-led team who had built the digital and operational heart of Dr. Lehrer’s business in good faith. Stephen, his wife Kateřina, and Dan (our video and photography lead) were all abruptly cut out without proper acknowledgment or compensation. This was not just a matter of business disagreements: it was a betrayal of the trust and contributions of a close-knit team who had dedicated themselves to what they believed was a shared mission.Despite this, Dr. Doug Lehrer later claimed (in communications with Stephen’s legal counsel) that Stephen had “not completed the contract,” even though Stephen had fulfilled and exceeded the operational and strategic commitments agreed upon. This false narrative ignored the reality: that Stephen and the QHP team had been fraudulently induced into providing 20 months of operational support under the guise of a spiritual mission — and then forcibly removed without ethical or contractual closure. Stephen and the QHP team had delivered far beyond the original scope, supporting the business’s growth and operational systems in good faith. This false narrative not only misrepresented the actual work done, but also caused reputational and professional harm — and is considered by Stephen to be defamatory.During this period, after being told to cease and desist, Dr. Lehrer sent Kateřina Burford manipulative audio messages. One of them stated, "It's not me (referring to the problem that was ocurring), you both walked into a bunch of dead souls."On December 27th, Dr. Doug Lehrer’s former attorney sent an aggressive legal letter to Stephen James Burford, falsely accusing him of “holding the business hostage” and threatening severe legal action. This marked the formal start of a hostile and intimidating posture from Dr. Doug Lehrer’s side.In response, on the same day, Stephen’s legal counsel, Irena Kolárová, sent a letter to Dr. Doug Lehrer proposing a calm and professional approach to resolving the ongoing issues. Irena stated:“We acknowledge the complexities of this situation and remain committed to finding an amicable resolution. Our priority is to ensure the fair and secure transition of operational assets, and to protect the legitimate contributions and well-being of our client and his family.”This clear and measured tone contrasts sharply with the aggressive and unfounded accusations that followed from Dr. Lehrer’s side. Impact on Business Growth & Ethical Transition
It’s important to clarify that the growth of Dr. Doug Lehrer’s business to an annual revenue of approximately $450,000 was not due to his healing sessions alone — it was driven by the operational and digital infrastructure built entirely by Quantum Heart Productions Ltd. Before our involvement, there was no structured brand, no website capable of supporting client growth, and no proper use of the cellularresonance.com domain. The term “CRQH” (Cellular Resonance Quantum Healing) did not exist as a formal brand or system — it was simply “CRT,” without a cohesive framework for client delivery or digital presence.We took this disjointed concept and turned it into a professional platform — including branding, website design, operational systems, client management, and a practitioner ecosystem that could support meaningful expansion.It’s also critical to note that Dr. Doug Lehrer himself has no technical or digital infrastructure skills. Everyone in the team and wider practitioner network knows that his expertise lies in one-on-one work — not in building scalable systems. The decision to remove our team and attempt to hand over the entire digital infrastructure to a new team without any meaningful transition - was his alone.This abrupt decision not only disregarded the immense work we had done but also destabilised the entire operation we built. The disruption and uncertainty that followed were not caused by Quantum Heart Productions Ltd., but by Dr. Doug Lehrer’s decision to forcibly eject the very team that created the systems he now uses to reach clients.
🔹 Jan 1st, 2025. 1.20am Local Time: Emotional Outburst Under Extreme Duress
By January 31st, after 9 consecutive nights without sleep and while experiencing severe psychological stress from the abrupt forced exit from the business, Stephen sent an email from his personal email to Dr. Doug Lehrer's and his aforementioned former mentor's that included an emotional outburst, using the word “c***” and a "twat" in frustration and anger. This message was not part of an ongoing pattern of harassment, but an isolated reaction to the immense personal and professional upheaval he was experiencing.This outburst was particularly charged because it followed the Christmas and New Year’s holiday period - the first one Stephen had spent as a father to a newborn child. Instead of celebrating with his family, he was forced to comply with sudden, aggressive demands from Dr. Lehrer, including turning over all operational systems without notice or cooperation. This profound sense of betrayal and loss of precious family time compounded the psychological strain.Stephen recognises that this language was harsh and not representative of how he typically communicates. He also recognises that the stress and psychological impact of this forced exit were far greater than he initially admitted. He recognises that being kept awake by fireworks from 4pm to 3am that felt like bullets piercing his skin and the emotional weight of the situation pushed him beyond his usual limits. Finally, he recognises the importance of seeking professional psychological help and of sharing this episode to highlight the human cost of unresolved conflicts and the necessity of ethical leadership and transparent agreements in any collaborative venture.
🔹 January 6–10, 2025: Forced Email System Takeover
On January 6th, Dr. Doug Lehrer forcibly took administrative control of the @cellularresonance.com email system by contacting Postale.io. He falsely labeled Stephen as a “hostile ex independent contractor” and claimed he was paying for the email system — despite the fact that Quantum Heart Productions Ltd. (QHP) had been paying for and managing these inboxes for nearly two years as part of its operational support for Dr. Lehrer’s business.Dr. Lehrer also asserted that the emails (steve@, katerina@, daniel@, and hello@) were his property. In reality, these emails were core to QHP’s operational work — including direct communications with clients, partners, and practitioners — and contained important legal and operational evidence that is now potentially lost or beyond QHP’s reach.There was no need for any DNS change — the DNS had already been configured by Stephen in 2023 to point to Postale’s servers, supporting the infrastructure QHP had built and maintained. Nevertheless, Dr. Lehrer used his ownership of the domain name at Namecheap to unilaterally seize control of the Postale account, bypassing QHP entirely.Postale treated the domain owner as having the final say and did not notify or consult with QHP before executing the change. This abrupt lockout left QHP without access to the email system it had built and managed — and no chance to coordinate a secure or ethical transition. It forms part of the broader pattern of forced exit, erasure of QHP’s contributions, and refusal to acknowledge the reality of the team’s work. Postale’s decision was based on their technical policy regarding domain ownership—not on any legal finding.It’s worth noting that Dr. Doug Lehrer has claimed publicly and privately that he sent us a formal cease and desist letter. In reality, no such cease and desist was ever issued or received. This further reinforces the pattern of misrepresentation and escalation that we have documented.
🚨 Clarification on “Cease and Desist” Claims
It’s worth noting that Dr. Doug Lehrer has repeatedly claimed, both privately and publicly, that he sent us a formal cease and desist letter. We categorically state that no such cease and desist was ever issued or received. This claim is false and unsupported by any evidence. It further reinforces the pattern of misrepresentation and escalation we have documented.
🔹 January 12–17, 2025: Aggressive Legal Threats Continue
On January 12th, 2025, Dr. Doug Lehrer’s former attorney, Heather Pearce Campbell, escalated the legal intimidation tactics by sending a letter that explicitly threatened to report Stephen James Burford to the FBI and pursue claims under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) — a statute typically reserved for organised crime and large-scale fraud. The letter alleged identity theft, wire fraud, and malicious interference with Dr. Lehrer’s business, even extending these threats to Stephen’s Czech legal counsel.Despite these heavy-handed legal threats, our communications and those of our Czech counsel were measured and focused on de-escalation. There was no personal aggression or ongoing harassment from us — only legitimate questions about the work we had done and the safety of products sold under Dr. Lehrer’s name.These claims were entirely unfounded and disproportionate to the actual nature of the dispute. This aggressive posture served only to escalate tensions, weaponise legal language as a tool of intimidation, and attempt to silence legitimate questions about operational control and product safety.Throughout this escalation, Stephen James Burford and his legal counsel, Irena Kolárová, consistently approached Dr. Lehrer and his (now former) attorney with respectful and calm communications. Irena’s letters focused on de-escalation and offered to find a resolution. At no point did she or Stephen make personal attacks or threats — the only “hostility” present was in the language of Dr. Lehrer’s attorney, not in our team’s communications.
🔹 January 17, 2025:
On January 17th, 2025, Irena Kolárová, legal counsel for Stephen James Burford, issued a formal letter expressing deep concerns about the conduct of Dr. Doug Lehrer’s former attorney, Heather Pearce Campbell. In this letter, she outlined her professional opinion that Pearce’s communications were aggressive, ethically questionable, and inappropriately framed as including potential criminal investigations without a clear factual basis.Irena’s letter highlighted that:a) The tone and content of Pearce’s communications were disproportionate and appeared intended to intimidate.b) No credible evidence had been presented to support the serious legal claims implied, including references to the U.S. RICO Act.c) Such conduct, if repeated, could have serious reputational and professional consequences.For transparency, the full text of this letter is available here:Download The Letter
🔹 January 22-Feb 5, 2025: Repeated Use of Stephen's Debit Card Without Authorisation
Throughout the dates, Dr. Doug Lehrer repeatedly used Stephen’s personal debit card - which had been used in good faith to cover operational expenses for the joint work - without authorisation or any prior discussion. Despite repeated warnings and explicit requests from Stephen to stop, these charges continued, causing direct financial harm and further eroding the trust and cooperative spirit of the collaboration.In response, Stephen had to move all of the money out of his account to prevent further misuse and watched over the course of two weeks as further attempts to charge the card were made. Ultimately, Stephen had to order a new debit card to protect himself. To this day, he has not been able to collect the replacement card because it requires a 34-mile round trip, and he has not found the time to do so given the ongoing stress and business disruptions.This misuse of the card was formally reported to the FBI as part of a broader pattern of coercive tactics and disregard for ethical or contractual boundaries. We see this as a further reason why QHP ultimately pivoted away from direct collaboration and focused on transparency and integrity for all parties involved.
January–March 2025: Internal Narrative vs. Documented Facts
In internal communications, Dr. Doug Lehrer has repeatedly framed Stephen James Burford as having no authority to communicate from the [email protected] email account, even though Stephen’s operational support contract (and project leadership role) remained in effect for at least 30 more days. Dr. Lehrer also claimed these emails were “unauthorised” and acting beyond his authority, while in fact they were part of ongoing project administration and transition management that QHP had always handled.Dr. Lehrer also wrote that there had been a “breakdown of trust for some time,” but we see this as a post-hoc narrative that ignores the actual source of conflict: repeated patterns of manipulation and racially insensitive comments by Dr. Lehrer that we had previously raised internally.Further, Dr. Lehrer insisted that passwords must be handed over immediately, but this was not legally required — the contract itself allowed 30 days for a transition, and we had offered to collaborate calmly. Instead, Dr. Lehrer’s team chose to escalate with unfounded RICO allegations and aggressive legal threats.Dr. Lehrer also stated that he had removed images of Kateřina Burford from his website and materials. This is not accurate: despite repeated requests, those images remain in use.Dr. Lehrer framed Stephen as “mentally imbalanced” and “stirring up drama.” We acknowledge that Stephen was under immense psychological strain at the time — driven by severe sleep deprivation and emotional turmoil from the product incident and sudden operational demands — but the idea of “drama” misses the real issue: these were legitimate legal and operational concerns about unpaid work, unlicensed product sales, and reputational harm.We believe this highlights the gap between Dr. Lehrer’s narrative and the documented facts, and why QHP has been so clear and calm in insisting on transparent mediation and accountability.Additionally, in mid-February 2025, Heather Pearce Campbell indicated that she was no longer representing Dr. Doug Lehrer. Around the same time, Stephen decided to pause working with his Czech attorney due to the intense legal intimidation and the RICO threats that had been raised.

In the months following these events, Quantum Heart Productions Ltd. (QHP) turned its focus to protecting the integrity of the brand and documenting the facts. This included launching a public effort to compile a detailed timeline of key events, clarify who contributed to the operational infrastructure and brand stewardship of Cellular Resonance Quantum Healing (CRQH), and ensure that the history of this work is preserved accurately.This shift also underscores QHP’s concern for product safety and consumer protection. After witnessing the harmful effects of an unauthorised product sold by Dr. Doug Lehrer without proper oversight or disclosure, QHP is committed to ensuring that no other practitioners or clients are harmed by similar practices in the future.It is important to note that throughout this period, Dr. Doug Lehrer has remained silent and unresponsive to our repeated efforts to resolve these matters amicably. Despite formal letters and requests for him to remove videos and materials that continue to use our faces and work (recordings we made in good faith under what we now believe to be fraudulent inducement) Dr. Lehrer has refused to engage or provide any explanation.This silence stands in contrast to our repeated attempts to engage in constructive dialogue, secure the integrity of the work, and protect the real human and family costs of this sudden removal. We believe these actions, especially the abrupt seizure of operational systems, continued use of our images without consent, and the removal of three of our videos by YouTube following our DMCA takedown requests, demonstrate a pattern of fraudulent inducement into this collaboration.These actions, taken together, reveal a systemic disregard for ethical boundaries: luring in a family-led team with spiritual promises, forcibly ejecting them under duress, and continuing to use their work and images without consent. It was not simply a business disagreement — it was the betrayal of a family’s trust and a profound misuse of collaborative goodwill.As previously noted, in February 2025, Heather Pearce Campbell, Dr. Lehrer’s former attorney, explicitly stated that she was no longer representing him. This was a clear indication to us that Dr. Lehrer had no legal counsel at that time, which we took as permission to speak freely about the situation. On June 3rd, we received a counter notification from Dr. Doug Lehrer via YouTube, in which he falsely claimed that he owns the copyright in the video content we produced and posted for his business. In this counter notification, Dr. Lehrer also mischaracterised our departure as a “personal vendetta,” as a "disgruntled ex-contractor," continuing to frame the dispute in a way that avoids the documented operational and ethical concerns.This false claim of ownership — combined with YouTube’s policy requiring legal action to maintain the takedown — now forces us to pursue formal legal proceedings in the United States. Under YouTube’s policy, a valid response to a counter notification must include evidence of a lawsuit or court order specifically restraining the allegedly infringing activity.
